第二次大戦中、世の中の人々はこれは正義の戦争だと言っていた。それなのに、日本の敗北に終わるとてのひらを返したようにあの戦争は正義ではなかった、アメリカこそ正義だと言うようになった。

世の中でいう正義なんてものは時代が変わればころっと変わってしまう。むなしいものだという思いを強く抱いた。

時代を経ても変わらない正しいこととは何だろうか。追求して考えたら、飢えた人に食べ物を与えて助けることはいつの時代でも通用する正義ではないかという結論に至った。

そこから、自分の身を削って腹ぺこの人を救うヒーローとしてのアンパンマンが誕生した。
