“「赤字」という言葉を聞くとドキリとするけれど、貿易赤字とは「輸入品のほうが輸出品よりも多かったですよ」という意味でしかない。円高により日本人の購買力が上昇しているのだから、輸入の割合が増えるのは当然だ。燃料や素材を円高のうちに買い貯めておこうとする企業も多いはずだ。貿易収支は、家計や企業経営のように「赤字＝ヤバい」というわけではない。 ところが日経新聞には「日本は輸出立国」という教条がある。 日本経済は輸出によって成長してきた。円高になれば輸出が伸び悩むので、景気が悪くなる。だから政府は為替介入して円安誘導すべきだ――。日経新聞は「円高悪玉説」を一貫して主張している。 しかし円高で困るのは、日本人ではない。輸出依存型の一部の企業だけが困るのだ。 とくに海外に子会社や支店を持つ大企業にとって、円高は悩みの種だ。どんなに海外で営業努力をしていようと、円高になれば為替差損により財務諸表が痛む。業績が悪くなったかのように見えてしまう。財務諸表の見栄えをよくするため、そういう大企業は円安誘導にもろ手を挙げて賛成する。日経新聞が「誰のための新聞か」がよく分かる。” うそをうそと見抜けないと今を生きるのは難しい／データよりも常識にもとづいてモノを言う人たち - デマこいてんじゃねえ！
